Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s secret island wedding couldn’t be more different from his previous high-profile engagement with Latin megastar Jennifer Lopez. J.Lo and Ben, known in the media as Bennifer, were all about bling and glamour, and made numerous appearances on the red carpet. Ben even appeared J.Lo’s video for her 2002 single, Jenny from the Block. But it was another story when Ben quietly married fellow actress Jennifer Garner, who he met on the set of daredevil, in the West Indies on 29 June 2005. There was none of the brides or grooms family at the ceremony, and after the wedding Ben and Jen, who was four months pregnant at the time, were spotted relaxing on the island just enjoying each other’s company. Ben and Jennifer had a baby girl, Violet, on 1 December 2005.

Cash Warren and Jessica Alba

The Eye star Jessica Alba wed director’s assistant Cash Warren in a low-key ceremony on 19 May 2008. People magazine reported that the Couple, who met on the set of the Fantastic Four in 2004, went to Beverly Hills courthouse, applied for a marriage license and were married around 40 minutes later. Heavily pregnant Jessica wore a blue dress and Cash a white shirt and casual brown trousers. There were no guests at the wedding. Jessica gave birth to baby girl Honor Marie Warren in Cedars Sinai Hospital in LA on 7 June.

Guests at Speed Star Sandra Bullocks Nuptials Didn’t know there was a wedding in store when they were invited to a birthday barbeque at Sandra’s ranch in California on 26July 2004. Although Hugh Grant, Keanu Reeves and William Shatner were at the  ‘party’ only Bullock’s Father who gave her away, and Sandra’s sister, who made the wedding cake knew for certain what was on the cards. So  over 250 guests had a happy surprise when bagpipers led them to a wooded grove  to watch  Sandra-dressed in a Angel Sanchez gown and cowboy boots- exchange vows with celebrity motorbike fanatic Jesse James.

R&B diva Mariah Carey 38 stunned fans when she married 27 year old Californian actor Nick Cannon in a secrat ceremony at her home in the Bahamas on 1 May 2008. The pair had been dating for a mere two months. There was much media speculation that they engagement ring that Mariah was Flashing at the Tribeca Film festival was the same one the Nick had given his ex-fiancée Selta Ebanks which was estimated to be worth 5m. Nick is the son of famous Los Angeles casting director Benny Cannon.

Beyonce Knowles and Jaz-Z

After six years together and many false rumours, R&B star Beyonce Knowles and mega rapper Jaz-Z finally married in New York on 4 April 2008. A friend of the couple told people magazine, it’s happened earlier this evening. Jaz wanted it to be a really private affair-close friend and family.” Among the guests where believed to be mum and dad Tina and Mathew Knowles, Destiny’s child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. The couple applied for a marriage licence on Tuesday 1 April. On Friday 50,000 orchids were seen being delivered to Jaz-Z’s Tribeca penthouse and a white tent was erected on the roof. Beyance and Jaz-Z still haven’t officially confirmed that hey are husband and wife.
